TÉREY AWARD - QUASIMODO POETRY COMPETITION

The Salvatore Quasimodo Memorial Prize is a literary award established in 1992 by the Municipality of Balatonfüred. It is presented by the board of trustees of the Salvatore Quasimodo Foundation for the best poem submitted to the Quasimodo International Poetry Competition and Poetry Festival.

In addition to the Salvatore Quasimodo Memorial Prize, special awards are also granted, one of which is the Térey Prize, established by the city of Debrecen. Recipients of the Térey Special Award are granted a creative scholarship and have the opportunity to spend a few weeks in Debrecen.
